Slovenian Cultural Garden Spring Clean Up,  May 16, 2026 @ 10 AM

“Many hands make light work.”

Do you love the outdoors? Do you love meeting people? Do you like to help? Do you want to get involved with others in the Slovenian Community in Cleveland? Here is your chance!

No experience necessary and no amount of help is too small.

Bring gloves, a shovel, gardening supplies or nothing but yourself - any help and any amount of time is appreciated.

We hope to tackle the large amount of brush along the sidewalk in the lower garden, so if you have a chainsaw, or larger clippers, that would be very helpful.

This is a great opportunity to meet people, enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, sing a little, you can dance a little too, and spend some time beautifying the Slovenian Garden!

Refreshments provided. Everyone is welcome!

Grab your basket and hop on over to the Slovenian Cultural Garden for an Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Slovenian Cultural Garden Association (SCGA) and sposored by the American Mutual Life Association (AMLA). This event is FREE and open to the public.

The Egg Hunt will take place on Sunday, March 22nd at 1pm. The Egg Hunt will be divided into age groups, with special prizes for each group. Light refreshments and snacks will be available. The Egg Hunt is held rain or shine, so dress for the weather!

There is ample street parking available on the east side of East Boulevard and its side streets.

Please note that there are no restrooms available at the Slovenian Garden. Visitors to the Garden may use the restrooms at the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse which is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 p.m. daily. The Greenhouse is located at 750 E 88th St, Cleveland, OH 44108 near the north end of the Cleveland Cultural Garden.
